Photo 101, Home

Home in Ohio, at least in March means… March 2015 005the snow is going to melt! And we’re all going to get excited! And then, it’s going to snow again. and we are all going to sob like babies.

Home in Ohio, at least in March means…

March 2015 002saying goodbye to warm, delicious comfort foods and hello to salad. Goodbye chicken pot pie. I shall see you again in October.

It also means saying goodbye to…March 2015 007cough and cold and flu medicine. Yay!

But Hello to Allergy meds. Boo!

Home in Ohio, at least in March means,

March 2015 011Only a few more weeks of being stuck inside building bridges and knocking them down and building another bridge and knocking it down and someone crying cause they didn’t want their bridge knocked down and someone hitting someone because they wanted all the triangle pieces and Mommy drinking in the bathroom.

Home in Ohio, at least in March, is warm and hopeful and little bit crazy.

  1. Lovely, Rachel. Guess what my dear wife Karen and I had for dinner last night? Marie Callendar pot pies. Turkey and beef for me. Thanks for dropping in to share my first snowy day of Photo 101, too, new friend.

  2. I love your take on home. I grew up in Michigan and now live in Texas. No snow, warmer most of the time but I still eat pot pie many months, and have a cupboard full of allergy meds, Stay warm, spring is coming….. 🙂
